Dr. Patty Culotta is an educational consultant and presenter with nearly four decades of experience in K-12 public education. Well-versed in strategic planning, she has broad experience in academic program evaluations and a strong background in school administration. Her expertise includes all elements of instructional program and curriculum planning, improvement, and redesign; assessment, data analysis, and accountability; teacher evaluation and mentoring; educational research; and professional development.
Patty earned a Master of Education degree with an endorsement in Administration and Supervision from the College of William and Mary and a Doctor of Education from the University of Virginia. Her career in education includes classroom teaching, school administration at the middle and high school levels, and central office administration including coordinator for gifted services, director of educational services, and, most recently, assistant superintendent for eight years. Born and raised in the Tidewater region of Virginia, Patty has held education positions in the Commonwealth as well as school districts in Pennsylvania and Ohio. She currently lives in Fluvanna County, Virginia, with her husband Chris.
